  • Poly Haven: CC0 environment maps, tree geometry, bark, foliage and ground textures. Specific asset URLs are listed in docs/asset_sources.md and public/credits.html.
  • LXGW WenKai / Klee Project Authors: SIL Open Font License 1.1. The v0.7 historical gate subset used this font; the current local v0.8 glyphs are photo-derived contours, not WenKai.   • MakeHuman: CC0 base mesh and helper geometry used for the student. The project does not include MakeHuman application code. https://github.com/makehumancommunity/makehuman/blob/master/LICENSE.md
  • Three.js, Vite, Meshoptimizer, glTF Transform: MIT. Rapier: Apache-2.0. Dependencies retain their respective notices.
  • Nanjing University official VR, campus plan and public building photographs: modeling references. Original photographs, panorama tiles and the source plan are excluded from this repository and deployment. Current gate lettering is reconstructed from the user-supplied photo contours; this does not confer new rights in the original calligraphy. Reconstructed geometry and building dimensions are approximate; no endorsement by the university is implied.
  • Nanjing University emblem: cropped from the official website header at https://www.nju.edu.cn/images/logo.png for campus identification on the welcome page. Rights remain with Nanjing University; this emblem is not covered by the project’s original-asset license and does not imply official endorsement.
  • Rain field recording — ezwa / PDSounds: Rain (1).ogg, Public domain (Commons metadata). Converted, level-adjusted and loop-crossfaded as public/assets/audio/rain-field.wav.
  • 鼓楼漫步 — default piano music: original composition and Web Audio sampler/synthesis code, MIT. Piano recordings are from Versilian Studios / VSCO 2 via Nicholas Brosowsky’s tonejs-instruments, packaged by Makefully Studios; samples are CC BY 3.0, with source links and processing details in piano attribution. The sample license is separate from the project’s MIT license. No Minecraft recordings or melodies are bundled.
  • C418 / Minecraft music: optional personal local files only. The five locally prepared tracks are not included in the repository or public build. No third-party-game music redistribution permission is claimed.

  • Library, history museum and new-teaching sign contours: reconstructed from NJU archival / official VR photographs for this local campus model. These are approximate derived silhouettes, not original vector calligraphy. Source photos remain excluded; no separate copyright claim or university endorsement is implied.
